Requires continuing education
New York’s real estate license renewal rules and regulations have undergone several revisions in the past two years. These new requirements will be effective on/after September 21, 2022. To meet the new requirements, you must earn at least two hours of continuing education every two years. The education must consist of at least two hours of mandatory courses and at least one hour of elective courses.
Continuing education (CE) is a requirement for all real estate licensees in the state. The specific subjects and number of hours required vary by license status. There are several convenient packages of CE courses that allow you to complete your requirements in as little as 45 hours. Depending on your status, you may take different courses or enroll in a comprehensive package to get the most hours. First-time license renewals require five required fundamental courses and 18 hours of CE courses in consumer protection and services. Requires conditions and contingencies
If you wish to renew your real estate license in the state of Texas, you must follow certain requirements. For example, you need to complete continuing education, or CE, no later than 10 days before the expiration date. You also need to submit fingerprints for a criminal background check. Moreover, you must not engage in any real estate brokerage activities while your license is inactive.
Under the law, it is not permitted to conduct real estate business under another name or address than the one listed on the license. Fees
